Powell Restoration is a CDOT DBE certified contractor specializing in land restoration. Specifically, our expertise is in environmental services including Reclamation, Erosion Control, Sediment Control, Stormwater Management, Commercial Landscaping & Maintenance and Snow Removal. The purpose of these services both the private and public active construction sector is to establish Best Management Practices (BMP) for the land stabilization pre-construction and intra-construction as well as restoring the landscape to its native or natural beauty post construction. Powell Restoration (“Powell”) was started in 2008 as a private family owned and operated business. In the beginning, funding was not available to make the necessary asset purchases for work in the Reclamation and Erosion Control scope.

The owners became “weekend warriors” completing a multitude of miscellaneous residential landscape services including mowing lawns, aerating, planting flower beds and completing yard clean-ups of leaves in the spring and fall. Eventually, Powell was able to hire a few employees to perform these residential landscape services full-time with the ultimate goal of saving enough money to purchase trucks and equipment for Reclamation and Erosion Control services.

Fast forward 10+ years and Powell Restoration remains a family-owned business and is the preferred contractor for Reclamation and Erosion Control adding Commercial Landscape and Maintenance to their list of services.
